Russell Brand Files for Divorce

Russell Brand has just filed for divorce from the famous singer Katy Perry whome he proposed to in India on New Year's Eve in 2009. The papers stated "irreconcilable differences". The documents do not give a date of when they have separated. Russell has said, claiming, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends." Sources have told that the couple were having problems which was made obvious by the fact that they spen their Christmas apart and none of them were wearing their wedding bands. Katy Perry has not responded about the divorce.
